When I was little I had dogs and cats all the time. I always enjoyed having them around. I knew one day I wanted to work with animals, I just didn’t know when or how. My next steps are to go to grooming school and become a groomer.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
I would probably be a dog because everyone loves on them and you don’t have to worry about anything.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I currently have a dog and a cat. The dog’s name is Sally Rey and my favorite thing about her is that she is very protective and she’s my best friend. My cat’s name is Princess Leia and my favorite thing about her is how loving she is.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Honestly everything. It’s like therapy and they don’t judge you at all.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not at working, I’m either hanging out with my boyfriend or with my family.
What causes are you most passionate about?
The cause of me being most passionate is being able to help raise my five-year-old nephew. He is most definitely the reason for everything I do. He’s also my pride and joy. Watching and helping him become the boy he is today is my favorite thing ever.
