Coyne Health Club Wellness Plans in St. John

Coyne Veterinary Center in St. John understands that pet wellness is about more than just checking off boxes. Good health requires maintenance in the form of annual exams, and customized pet wellness plans that targets all of your pet’s essential needs.

Since our pets age much faster than we do, a year counts for a lot more as far as their health is concerned. Illnesses can develop without our noticing and escalate quickly. Elderly pets are prone to disease and may become disabled due to an issue that started developing when they were younger. Luckily, with routine wellness exams, you can help minimize the effects of aging in your pet and prevent illness from progressing. Call us today at (219) 627-3264.

How Do Pet Exams
Help to Prevent Disease?

A nose-to-tail physical exam gives us a general impression of your pet’s current health. Therefore, we can look for outward signs of illness or injury and offer recommendations based on our findings. If a physical exam prompts more questions than answers, we may need to go further and utilize our lab and/or imaging equipment for more in-depth study. Being able to detect and diagnose a problem early on may help us treat it more quickly and effectively.

PREVENTIVE CARE IS PROACTIVE CARE

It may not always be possible to keep your pet 10 steps ahead of an illness. However, prevention does allow you to be proactive with your pet’s care and anticipate changes that may affect their health.
