Veterinary Assistant

Biography

I was inspired to work in the veterinary field when a friend of mine told me the story of when she got to help save a dog after being run over by a car. My goal is to be able to help as many pets as I can. I have had the pleasure of fostering a hand full of puppies, kittens, an old chihuahua, a cat, and even a squirrel. One day I hope to work in wildlife rehabilitation.

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
A dog. As boring as that answer is, dogs are very loyal and will always love you until the end.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have a dog, a German Shepherd named Koda. My favorite thing about him is how he is always by my side. I also have 2 cats. One is a foster named Nancy and the other is my own named Tom. My favorite thing about Nancy is how cuddly she is. My favorite thing about Tom is his attitude.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
The most rewarding part is seeing them happy, especially when bringing them back to their owners.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy staying at home and being as lazy as I can with my pets.
What causes are you most passionate about?
Any rehabilitation and wellness causes for animals
