Progesterone Testing for Females
The level of progesterone in a female will show us when they’ll begin ovulating, and when they will be able to sustain a pregnancy. We recommend testing around five days into their heat cycle to see if their progesterone level is high enough to establish a breeding schedule. We can also help you arrange for a semen sample to be shipped in if it’s coming from out of state.

PRE-BREEDING EXAMS
A pre-breeding exam helps us determine if one of your breeding animals has any ongoing health issues or congenital conditions that might affect their litter. This includes checking for signs of hip and elbow dysplasia, eye disease and heart defects. Overall, we want to make sure that your animal is in excellent health.
