Pet Rescues

Pet Rescues & Nonprofits We Work With

Our genuine love for animals and helping them stay healthy encompasses not only St. John families and their pets, but also rescue and shelter animals in need of homes. While the numbers are improving, far too many cats and dogs are still euthanized every year to make room in crowded shelters. By providing essential care to homeless animals, we hope to save as many lives as possible and bring more families together.

South Suburban Humane Society

The South Suburban Humane Society has been serving Chicago’s south suburbs and Northwest Indiana for more than 40 years. SSHS offers and promotes pet adoptions and low-cost spay and neuter services. Coyne Veterinary Services has joined with SSHS to establish South Suburban Low Cost Veterinary Services, a low-cost clinic that exclusively serves low-income families. We’re proud to be connected to this organization and look forward to helping many more pets through their efforts.

We Help Our Local Fire & Police Departments, Too

How do we repay our fire and police departments for all they do? By offering free veterinary services for their hard-working canine partners. Our local police and rescue dogs are a major asset to the community and deserve the best care we can give.
